Small, but one of my favoured WV coffee locations. Coffee is good, but I love their muffins! (quick start 👍)

Super yummy coffees and latte this place can offer. Organic and simply awesome aroma with all characteristics of a real coffee.

Great service. Good coffee. Nice ambiance. Beautiful outdoor terrace. But their washroom (there's only one) is absolutely tiny.

A great local coffee shop with a much more honest and personal vibe than Starbucks.

Their decaf coffee was better than most of the other places.

Great coffee with an excellent selection of baked goods. There is also a kitchen in the next "room" that serves panini and soup. Just a heads up that you need to pay for the items separately despite that it is the same coffee house. Their cash register is operated independent of each other. Try the cinnamon bun. There are several different toppings to choose from. They are to die for.

The muffins are amazing here!!! Can’t get enough of the chocolate chip one. Love the place next door as well.

Not a place for hot chocolate. Just don't attempt it. The hot chocolate had not chocolate in it what's so ever.

Absolutely awesome service from very lovely ladies. The coffee is really good, and the muffins are great. I wish they had more seats, but it's all great .

I payed 15$ for latte and hot chocolate it was terrible. Taste was like a lot of milk and I didn’t enjoyed they need to improve the service and train the staffs for services 👎also they serve really slow

Great coffee, great store

Fairly good coffee, though it seemed over roasted. A good selection of pastries. Prices are basically the same as every other coffee shop. Depending on which branch you visit, the furnishings vary, though never more than just basically confortable.

My espresso was bad. I couldn't finish it. Does anything else matter much when we speak about a coffee joint?

Consistently good coffee. The best americano I've had in greater Vancouver. Unfortunately their baking is... not so good. But the coffee makes up for it. Avoid the muffins. The cinnamon buns look better, but one doesn't always want a cinnamon bun.

This place is probably my favorite coffee shop on the North shore since it opened in the 90s. The owner Barney is a gentleman, and the large wooden back patio is awesome for a game of chess over coffee on a sunny day. Way better coffee than Starbucks too

Been enjoying the coffee here since they opened years ago. Very much a retro.....read 70's atmosphere but the rear patio in the sun is great

There's girl named Sarah that works there who is extremely helpful, nice, and beautiful.

Definitely a favorite spot for coffee and pastry. Their mocha is great, and their staff are very friendly. The diner that's attached to it has very nice sandwiches, my favorite the tuna melt.

"Bean" coming to The Bean on and off since it opened about 25 years ago. Excellent coffee that is more consistently good than it was years ago. Nice, friendly and relaxed atmosphere for all ages to mingle. Dogs welcome on the patio.

Great coffee joint in west Vancouver. Love the muffins and they are self serve so just grab a plate and tongs and help yourself. Good sized back deck for those warm sunny days but also plenty of seating inside.

The one and only Bean! If you see a Bean anywhere in Vancouver, you can be sure it's the best spot for a cuppa joe in the area. Get in, grab a drink and enjoy!

Love the staff,the food, and the coffee

They have an interesting variety of baked goods of moderately good quality. I like their tea better than the tea at Starbucks etc, and they have a wider range of teas, too.

Can you believe this is the original Bean Around The World Cafe, roaster, and home to the established BC franchise! Very quaint and cozy, this is quintessential coffee house ambiance in both quiet and busy 'modes' - meditative or blustery social. The roast is strong, and the flavour conjures hardy Pacific and North-West lifestyles.

Great place to hang out with friends or sit on the back deck and have a coffee. Food is okay nothing special but the coffee is good.

A well rounded coffee and lunch place with lots of seating and a beautiful back patio. The food is simple but tasty and easy to take with you. The coffee is pretty basic and not very memorable.
